Covid or Bronchitis?/ Update on Posting Schedule & Exercise (UPDATED)

Some Kind of Illness

I have some kind of illness. I cannot decide if I have a case of Covid-19 because my vaccination was about seven months ago, and I went up to a tourist area of the mountains (I had forgotten my mask!), or if I just have bronchitis due to my asthma and the air quality when I was up in the mountains. I think there was an active fire when we were there.

Either way, I think I am over the worst of it. At least, I hope I am. I did have a very bad asthma attack as soon as I woke up this morning. However, my fever seems to have broken, and I have a little more energy.

My Symptoms:

I have asthma so my symptoms might be different-like-with Covid-there is usually a dry cough.

  • Fever 101 and 100.4- 3 days of fever
  • Night Sweats
  • Chills
  • Body aches
  • Headache
  • Cough-so hard my muscles and head hurt
  • Brown phlegm that was very sticky and thick-so I bought Mucinex to help with that.
  • Hurt to inhale-especially through my mouth

Posting Weekly

Last week, I decided to post weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and maybe Fridays. Those posts would be based on an editorial calendar and SEO (search engine optimization) research. My workout journal posts would be posted whenever I exercise.

This week, I think I will just take each day at a time, until I feel better. I might be able to work on my key word searches and editorial calendar this week. I do not want to just be a blob and do nothing at all until I recover. Although, it is really hard to concentrate and write this post. I have literally typed words that did not make a sentence at all. My brain is not operating on all thrusters. I think it is the cough medication.

Exercise

I considered taking my daughters to the gym and helping them train, but if I do have Covid-19, I should stay home. I got sick on the weekend so it was hard finding a test that would yield results in less than a week. So, I think I’ll just stay on the safe side and stay home today. I can make them a band exercise routine, or they can use my Peloton app. For myself, I might just stretch and call it a day. If I do stretch, I’ll post it.

I scheduled a Covid test today; the appointment is tomorrow morning. I honestly felt too sick to go to the doctor’s office or to a testing site earlier so it might be too late to get a valid result, but I figure it could help me take next steps if it is positive.

Update

I have bronchitis and this doctor, unlike the last one, prescribed and antibiotic. I hope to be feeling better and posting content soon!
